Just commenting on it. I think the idea is cool and people draw themselves all cartoony. But I think about how I'd draw myself, and I don't think it'd bring to mind smiles and fluffies. It'd be interesting to give a shot to those, although I think it'd depress a lot of people as to how I viewed myself at different ages. There's what everyone else saw and then there's what I saw. I can't really remember what my face looked like for most of it, actually. Sometimes I'm kind of surprised when I look in the mirror and I say, "Wow, that's what I look like!" I once told that to my dad, asking him if he was ever surprised to find out that he is who he is, and my dad just laughed.
I don't see anyone visually like I see myself. All those problems people see with themselves don't exist for me. I'm always surprised to hear what people don't like about themselves. "My nose" or "my hands", everyone seems to be uptight about something different. I like the differences people have, I think it makes people far more interesting, not to mention more of a challenge and encouragement to branch out and draw people in all sorts of different ways.
I envy people who have the confidence to say, "I like who I am!" I think that's awesome.
